Shabbat

Our Friday night services are short and sweet, with a lot of singing.  We begin at 5:45 PM and finish by 6:45 PM.  These services are in our sanctuary and also accessible via Zoom.

Our shabbat morning service is warm, participatory, and fairly traditional, with most prayers being sung together in Hebrew.  We begin at 9:15 with psalms and songs, recite the Shema around 9:45, and begin the Torah service by 10:15.  TI prides itself on its strong corps of Torah readers.  We often celebrate a bar or bat mitzvah, baby-naming, or couple about to be married during the Torah service, as well as birthdays and anniversaries.  There is a chance to offer a prayer for loved ones who are in need of healing.   The service includes words of Torah, and we finish by noon for kiddush.  (currently outside)  Children are always welcome.  This service is accessible through the temple website on livestream.

We hold Youth Services about twice a month.  We're currently having them outside, with one service "Kid-ish," geared towards age 2 through 1st grade, 10:00-11:00 AM, and Junior Congregation, geared towards 2nd-6th grade, 10:30-11:45 AM.

We hold Synaplex services several times a year which include a variety of services, as well as options such as nature walks, yoga, discussion, Torah study, and more.  Let us know if you have feedback or would like to help out.
